About
Me
My name is Ally and I was raised in Colorado by two artistic parents. My mother is a graphic designer, an artist, and a painter. My father is a writer, bass player, and former music reporter. I have played music for the majority of my life and I have been designing things on a computer since our first was brought into my childhood home. I have always believed that good design is the key to making people care about something. Maybe being born deaf and growing up hard of hearing had something to do with it, but that didn't stop me from wanting to play the saxophone. As a young student, I attended Denver School of the Arts and graduated from the University of Colorado, before moving to New York City in 2015.
I immediately jumped into the music scene, and in 2017 I took notice of the emerging brass band scene and became a founding member of a local nonprofit aimed at providing musical opportunities for adults of all skill levels. In 2019 I co-founded Brass Queens, an all-female New Orleans inspired brass band, which actively tours across the country and internationally. My first job in NYC was doing marketing and design for a prestigious art gallery, but after four years I left that job in order to be available whenever the music called. I currently serve as the Marketing Director for the American Symphony Orchestra, which I joined in 2019.

ALBUM ART: From digital cover art to complete vinyl package design, the visuals should mean as much as the music.
SHOW POSTERS: While I love making things from scratch, sometimes it's just a matter of putting the puzzle pieces together.
MERCH: Let's be real, it's always better when you can show off that cool design wherever you go!
SHOW POSTERS: While I love making everything from scratch, sometimes it's just a matter of putting the puzzle pieces together.
